RUN OR WALK
A virtual 5k or 10k run/walk with your team, organization (social distancing style) or on your own. Go at your own pace and remember to have fun!
We mean what we say when we talk about building our community. This year, many of the funds go towards Daughter Project Canada!Register Today!
We’re also giving to Habitat Durham who has been building homes in our communities for over 20 years! To see their work in action is always rewarding.
A Virtual Run/Walk 5k or 10k for
homes and families in our community
Running4Home is an annual run/walk in the Durham Region.
For the first time ever, we’ll be running together, apart. That means that you can run/walk from wherever you want!
This race was created to raise awareness & funds for organizations in Durham who are helping people where it matters most, in their homes.
Why We Do What We Do
We have annually designated the proceeds to Daughter Project & Habitat Durham. We are excited to also be partnering with Possibilities House, an orphanage in Mexico providing a home for at risk and abandoned children. Just like some of the larger runs in the GTA, you can choose to run for either charity.
Let us know if you have any questions that aren’t answerd below
WHEN CAN I PICKUP MY RACE KIT?
T-shirts can be picked up 30 days after race day.
Mailing can be arranged for those who can’t pick up.
Check out our FaceBook and IG pages for updated info.
IS THERE A MINIMUM DONATION AMOUNT
The earlybird registration of $25 is open until April 8th. After that, and up to an including race day the cost to register is $30. Our sponsors helps us cover costs so all your registration money gets in the hands of our beneficiaries.
CAN I RUN IN A TEAM?
You can run alone, with a team (10ft apart), with your office groupies, your school buddies, your family, your friends. So, ya, you can, unofficially, run with a team, but by all means try and beat them to the finish line.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Races are rain or shine events, the only possible reason to cancel a race would be the risk of lightening. Runners/Walkers are a strong breed. If it’s on our calendar and we’re planning to be there, we will be there to run or walk
This annual run/ walk would not be possible without the generosity of these local partners
